Warehouse Worker/ Delivery Driver
- Permanent Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity at our Barrie location for full time Delivery Driver.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Warehouse Associate**
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Pick, pack and inspect product for outgoing items prior to signing off, report any damaged product
- Load vehicles for next day delivery ensuring product is loaded in a safe manner
- Ensure that all documentation is available and resolve any cases of missing documentation
- Adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times
- Compile, verify, record, and process all documentation
- Receive and process warehouse stock products and rotate stock
- Report any discrepancies in inventory to management
- Operate lifting devices such as forklifts and pump carts
- Manually load and unload materials from skids, vehicles, and lifting devices
- Tag, mark, or label stock items and ensure they are placed in correct storage location
- Assist and greet walk in customers when required and provide the best customer service and quality

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Delivery Driver**
- Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, and driver’s hours of service, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods and weights and dimensions.
- Maintain accurate and complete records associated with the dispatch of vehicles
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
- Plan logistics of trip and obtain appropriate paperwork to transport goods, materials or passengers
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post trip inspections on vehicle and load, ensuring safety and roadworthiness
- Maintain contact with Warehouse Supervisor in accordance with travel plan
- Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift, including daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, and hours of service, following applicable provincial and federal regulations
- Check all load related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate
- Provide feedback to management regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems
- Oversee cargo handling and secure loads in accordance with established safety requirements.
- Clean, refuel and make minor repairs to vehicles to maintain appropriate service levels
- Complete all end of day tasks and fill out and hand in check sheet
- on days with short delivery runs you may be required to work in warehouse
- Perform other duties as assigned
