Type; FTE
- Responsible for designing, developing and deploying database models.
- Thorough understanding of conceptual, logical and physical models, optimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects
- Develop data models based on architectural direction and assist in defining and enforcing data modeling standards, and foundational best practices.
- Set the strategy and repeatable process for maintaining the Data model using automation
- Facilitate JAD (Joint Application Development) sessions for transforming and mapping business and/or user requirements to conceptual and logical data models
- As part of the modeling exercise provide guidance for data quality identification and Data modeling experience with financial services like brokerage, securities, payments etc. a huge plus
- implementing data governance principles in an enterprise data services environment
- Responsible for reviewing and approving data model designs for objects entering the
- Implement shared service data projects, delivering data requirements, data mapping and transformation, data migration and reconciliation
- Integrate data modeling principles and practices with agile and waterfall software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Provide vision and direction to develop data models with forward-looking info security, regulatory and legal compliance with data protection policies.

**Qualification**:

- **BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience as a Data Modeler/Analyst/architect**:

- **Minimum 10 years of experience in data domain**:

- **Minimum of 5 years of strong hands on experience building and implementing large scale**:

- **data models in a complex heterogeneous data environment.**:

- **Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Logical Design demonstrated with large scale, multiple**:

- **business solutions across various LOBs within the enterprise**:

- **Expert knowledge of data modeling tools like Erwin, ER Studio, PowerDesigner etc. along**:

- **with SQL**:

- **Hands-on modeling experience with SQL RDBMS database engines such as Oracle, DB2,**:

- **Postgres, etc. and “NewSQL/NOSQL” databases - like Redshift, Cassandra, MongoDB,**:

- **Hive etc. and microservices design principles**:

- **Experience with Data Governance and change management process**:

- **Experience with deployment of database changes through a well-defined process**:

- **Strong analytical skills, self-starter and a strong attention to detail**:

- **Customer-focused ability to communicate across all levels of the organization**:

- **Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration and consulting skills, ability to communicate across all levels of the organization**

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
