**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Sand finished areas to achieve a polished surface ready for painting or further finishing.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and painters, to ensure project specifications are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques and materials.
- Experience in construction painting for finishing touches on projects.
- Ability to perform caulking tasks effectively for sealing joints and gaps.
- General maintenance person skills, including minor repairs and maintenance tasks related to drywall work.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Halifax Regional Municipality, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- Drywall Taping: 2 years (required)
