**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Perform cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
- Monitor sterilization processes to ensure compliance with established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying staff of low stock levels.
- Collaborate with dental assistants, receptionists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless operations.
- Follow infection control procedures to prevent contamination.
**Skills**
- Proficiency in medical & dental terminology to effectively communicate within the healthcare environment. Handy to have, will pick up along the way, but not required.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as GOLD is preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in dental assisting is advantageous.
