Personne qui assure l'éducation et la rééducation des usagers en milieu institutionnel ou externe selon les programmes d'intervention établis en collaboration avec l'équipe de professionnels en place, en vue de l'adaptation ou de la réadaptation de l'individu ou de sa réinsertion dans la société. Elle applique des techniques d'éducation en utilisant les actes de la vie quotidienne, en organisant, coordonnant et animant les activités prévues au programme, pour assurer l'apprentissage et l'acquisition d'attitudes et de comportements adéquats. Elle observe et analyse le comportement des usagers, participe à l'évaluation de leurs besoins et de leurs capacités et note leur évolution en rédigeant les documents appropriés. CLASSE 01 Doit détenir un diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) en techniques d'éducation spécialisée ou techniques d’intervention en délinquance d'une école reconnue par le ministère compétent. Cette classe comprend aussi les personnes qui détiennent un certificat d'études collégiales en techniques d'éducation spécialisée ou rééducation institutionnelle. CLASSE 02 Cette personne doit détenir un diplôme de quatorze (14) ans de scolarité générale reconnu par le ministère compétent ou un brevet d'éducateur de cadre auprès de l'enfance exceptionnelle reconnu par le ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux et le ministère compétent, et/ou avoir complété cinquante pour cent (50%) du cours général menant au diplôme officiel en rééducation institutionnelle ou en éducation spécialisée (cours du cégep).

She applies education techniques using the actions of daily life, by organizing, coordinating and leading the activities planned in the program, to ensure learning and the acquisition of appropriate attitudes and behaviors. She observes and analyzes the behavior of users, participates in the evaluation of their needs and their capacities and notes their evolution by writing the appropriate documents. CLASS 01 Must hold a diploma of college studies (DEC) in techniques of specialized education or delinquency intervention techniques from a school recognized by the competent ministry. This class also includes people who hold a certificate of college studies in specialized education techniques or institutional rehabilitation. CLASS 02 This person must hold a diploma of fourteen (14) years of general education recognized by the competent ministry or a certificate of executive educator for exceptional children recognized by the Ministry of Health and Social Services and the competent ministry, and/or have completed fifty percent (50%) of the general course leading to the official diploma in institutional rehabilitation or specialized education (CEGEP course).
