**Work as a part of a dynamic team of skilled landscapers installing high end quality landscapes for residential and commercial properties. As a part of the Carpentry Crew, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of tasks related to rough and finished carpentry.**

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Follow direction from your Crew Lead and efficiently assist with the following tasks:

- Site preparation (demo, excavation, layout)Concrete work (forming, footings, foundations, pads etc)Wood work (decks, fences, gates, sheds, cabanas, pergolas, privacy screens etc)Installation of railings (aluminum and glass)
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment (laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, dingo with an auger, power tools and hand tools)
- Assist Delivery Driver with loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment required to complete projects
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times, comply with all company policies and regulations and work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
- Assist Construction Crews with hardscaping and softscaping components as required (stone work, planting, sodding etc)

**Qualifications**
- Valid G class drivers license and your own transportation; must be willing to get to various job locations throughout the GTA
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications an asset
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment associated with landscape construction
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift

**Schedule**
- Monday through Friday, 7:00am-5:30pm
- Guaranteed company shut down for one week at the end of August to ensure rest & relaxation
- Season typically runs from mid March-mid December

**Compensation**
- Hourly rate ranges from $20-25
- Compensation for this position is based on experience level and performance. It will be tailored to meet your specific needs both in a professional capacity but also in your personal life.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 9-10 months

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
