Chromium Plater

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare surfaces for plating by cleaning, sanding, or polishing as necessary.
- Perform hard chrome plating on steel components as per technical requirement
- Prepare parts for plating through cleaning, masking, and racking
- Monitor and control plating bath parameters
- Ensure thickness and quality of plating meets customer specifications
- Perform basic maintenance on plating tanks and equipment
- Work safely with chemicals and follow handling protocols
- Perform quality inspections on plated items to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and cranes for the assembly and movement of materials.
- Follow safety protocols while working with chemicals and machinery.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

**Qualifications**
- 1-3 years of experience in industrial electroplating (chrome plating preferred)
- Knowledge of electroplating processes and safety procedures
- Strong attention to quality and surface finish
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift and handle heavy parts
- Experience with quality inspection processes to ensure product standards are met.
- Familiarity with hand tools used in metal fabrication and assembly.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plating processes.
- Ability to weld and fabricate components as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or plating environment is a plus.
