Selkirk Paving, part of the Terus Construction Ltd. group, is looking to hire Equipment Operators based in Crescent Valley, BC.

**Duties/Tasks**:

- General laborer duties associated with road construction.
- Required ability to shovel, rake and handle other small tools.
- Operate equipment as needed.
- Equipment cleanup as needed.
- May be called upon to run small power tools.
- Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
- Assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.
- Follow instructions from your supervisor or manager
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent required
- Previous experience on a road construction crew is an asset

**Requirements**:

- Out of town travel as required.
- Overtime as required.
- Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
- Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.
