**Restaurant Staff**

**Tahini's Restaurants**is looking for a full time Restaurant Server to join our team. We are a small family restaurant with only 1 location in Aurora, ON. We are looking for a team player who is eager to help keep our customers happy. We have a very positive work environment and we believe that employees who are happy come to work with a smile.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers as they enter and work their way through our restaurant
- Take orders while paying attention to details and consistency
- Assist customers with their orders while paying attention to details and consistency
- Assist servers with serving techniques, trays, utensils and beverages
- Receive orders from wait staff and pass along to kitchen staff for input
- Assist with opening and closing of the restaurant as well as the shifts you are scheduled for. You will assist with the cleaning of the restaurant after each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, including the kitchen and restrooms.
- Always be on time for your shift.

**Qualifications**
- Must be able to communicate effectively with other employees and customers (English speaking)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 25lbs, bend, twist, reach, pull, push, and be able to maneuver around the restaurant. (We do have a break room where you will be expected to handle customers)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.50-$19.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Aurora, ON L4G 0G2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)

Work Location: In person
