In this role, you will be responsible for estimating the costs of insulation projects in commercial settings. You will analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed within budget and to the highest standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review and analyze project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand insulation requirements.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial insulation projects, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
- Prepare and present comprehensive proposals and bid documents to clients and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle to identify and address any discrepancies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to managers and field teams regarding insulation materials and installation techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Assist in project scheduling and coordination to ensure timely completion of insulation work.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as an estimator or similar role in the commercial insulation industry.
- Strong knowledge of insulation materials, installation methods, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices.

**Working Conditions**:

- Office-based role with occasional site visits.
- May require occasional overtime or extended hours to meet project deadlines.
