Construction Site Superintendent

This is a Site Superintendent position working with Project Managers and Project Coordinators to complete commercial construction projects. This position requires an individual **experienced in commercial tenant improvements** to join our team. Matra is a **commercial general contractor **and construction management firm, specializing in interior tenant improvements and working in occupied spaces. Our head office is located in North Burnaby with worksites throughout BC and AB; the majority of the work is in the Lower Mainland.

The position involves the following:

- Executing and managing site activities as per drawings and specifications
- Ensuring compliance with specified requirements and industry quality standards
- Communicating with project manager and client representatives for progress updates and directives
- Coordinating subcontractors and labour
- Confirming site measurements and anticipating discrepancies
- Directing toolbox talk meetings
- Coordinating inspections with municipal inspectors and/or consultants

Salary is negotiable upon experience. Vehicle and cell phone allowance will also be provided.
