Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:

- Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations
- Implementing operational policies and procedures
- Implementing and overseeing security operations
- Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety guidelines
- Motivating and ensuring continuous growth of the warehouse team
- Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities and inventory movement
- Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of all inventory
- Assisting with deliveries where required
- Ensuring the company complies with safety and health regulations
- Recruiting and training new hires, and assisting warehouse employees with tasks when there is a need
- Assigning work schedules and timesheets to Warehouse Workers, and preparing a list of outgoing shipments
- Issuing lists of incoming items and shipments, and handing them over to the receiving person
- Ensuring a well-coordinated reception of all materials, items, and products, and making sure they are sorted, labelled, and stored per company standards and policies
- Ensuring delivery deadlines and quality objectives are met
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and transport companies, and operating IT and mechanical systems
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Carrying inspection of all items received and being shipped out or going out for delivery/ pick up
- Coordinating deliveries, transfers and store pick ups with all appropriate departments
- Assembling and supervising assembly of furniture and store fixtures
- Reliably commute to work on a daily basis
- Proven experience in organizing and coordinating warehouse operations and staff
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience preferred

**Salary**: From $43,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Pickering, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
