**The Town of Wasaga Beach** is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to perform the duties of Facility Attendant, primarily scheduled at the Wasaga Stars Arena and Wasaga Beach Public Library.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Ontario Secondary School diploma or equivalent;
- Requires proof of an unrestricted valid class “G2” Ontario Drivers License (minimum);
- Previous experience, and a proven ability, to carry out facility maintenance, repairs and janitorial duties is required;
- Basic Refrigeration certificate an asset;
- Physically able to perform all duties of this physically active position including heavy lifting and indoor as well as outdoor work in all conditions;
- Good understanding of Safe Operating Procedures for power tools and associated facility maintenance equipment;
- Good organizational and decision making skills;
- Standard First Aid certification, CPR, Defibrillator and WHIMIS training is also a benefit;
- Ability to provide a current, acceptable Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector) if hired;
- A proven ability to deal with the public and other staff in a courteous and efficient manner;
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including: days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays and overtime on short notice as required.

**Hourly Rate**: $ 21.24 (up to 24 hours per week) as per the CUPE Collective Agreement
