Previous housekeeping/laundry experience, preferably in a retirement home or long-term care setting.

Ability to work with the elderly and physically/cognitively challenged in a respectful manner.

Ability to do extensvie standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, and lifting/pushing of objects of various sizes and weights.

Customer service experience and ability to demonstrate commitment to customer and family centered care.

Working knowledge of WHMIS and Occupation Health and Safety standards.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

COVID-19 considerations:
screening, masks, rapid testing, additional cleaning measures

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pembroke, ON K8A 2K5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
