**Role Overview**:
Reporting to the Global Process Owner, Source to Pay, the Ariba Supplier Enablement Lead will play a critical role in the successful implementation and sustainment of SAP Ariba across the organization. This role will lead supplier onboarding and engagement efforts, ensuring suppliers are effectively integrated into the Ariba Network and aligned with Teck’s procurement transformation goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.

**Supplier Enablement Strategy & Planning**
- Collaborate with our external system integrator and SAP Ariba teams to co-develop the supplier enablement strategy, including segmentation, prioritization, and wave deployment planning.
- Provide strategic input during supplier segmentation to ensure alignment with business unit needs and procurement categories.
- Secure stakeholder buy-in for enablement plans and ensure alignment with broader transformation timelines.

**Supplier Engagement & Onboarding**
- Lead and facilitate supplier enablement workshops and readiness sessions, covering:

- Supplier compliance and onboarding requirements
- Key messaging and communication strategies
- Training delivery and support models
- Data readiness and validation processes
- Coordinate supplier outreach and contact data gathering in partnership with the SAP Ariba Network Deployment Lead (NDL).
- Act as the primary point of contact for supplier onboarding escalations and issue resolution.

**Training & Communication**
- Design and execute supplier training strategies, including remote sessions, in-person roadshows, and vendor summits.
- Develop and deliver clear, consistent communication to suppliers regarding onboarding timelines, expectations, and system cutovers.
- Support internal teams with enablement materials and guidance to ensure consistent messaging across all supplier touchpoints.

**Monitoring & Reporting**
- Track supplier onboarding progress and provide regular status updates to project leadership and stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate risks or delays in supplier enablement and propose mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier engagement activities and outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- 5-8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or ERP implementation roles, with a focus on supplier enablement or onboarding.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects independently, including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination.
- Proficiency with SAP Ariba or similar procurement platforms is required; experience with Ariba Network deployment is a strong asset.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and successfully engage with category managers, IT teams, suppliers, and external consultants.
- Understanding of Teck’s business units, procurement categories, and supplier landscape is considered an asset.
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences in both English and Spanish.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data to drive decisions and improvements.

**Pay Range**: CAD $93,000 - $115,000 per year
