**SUMMARY**

The Manager, Clinical Applications is part of the Marketing team responsible for customer success (customer training and support), as well as the company’s relationships with 3rd party physicians and researchers conducting studies or participating in events that support the company’s market position.

The position reports directly for the Vice President, Marketing and collaboratively with other functions including engineering, sales, medical affairs, regulatory, and quality management. The incumbent works directly with our customers and medical advisors..

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

The responsibilities of this position include
- **Product Training and Instructions Materials and Delivery. **Plan, budget and execute all activities related to effective training and instructions for the company’s products and software. This training material will nclude printed instructions, PowerPpoint and video. There are 3 target groups
- Sleep Physician and Clinics
- Patients
- Sales Team
- **Technical Documents and Customer Support Material. **This includes
- user guides
- quick reference guides
- spec sheets
- white papers based on company research publications
- **Customer Support Organization and Systems. **The company will require people (trainers and tech support), information, systems and processes to support our customers on a day-to-day basis in adopting our products and in the ongoing effective use of our products, particularly as it relates to the technical aspects of our offering. This includes initial onboarding and training as well as ongoing support. This position will work closely with the Customer Success team (who have the lead for the ongoing customer relationship) to deliver technical training and ongoing support to our customers by video conference, phone and online.
- **Customer Trials. **Plan, budget and execute all activities required to test the usability and fit of Bresotec products and software with clinics. These trials are often conducted under IRB or REB control and require testing protocol creation, IRB approval, site recruitment and training, monitoring and data collection and analysis.
- **Scientific Advisory Board**. In conjunction with the Product Marketing Manager, and in cooperation with the Chief Medical Officer plan and manage a board of scientific advisors. This group will meet regularly via video conference and in person to provide advice to the company and to serve as ambassadors of Bresotec in the market.
- **Market Insights and Analysis. **(in conjunction with the Product Marketing Manager), this position is responsible to provide data and research that helps the company to define product and software requirements based on market needs, customer workflow and competitive information. This work entails working with 3rdparty reports, managing custom 3rd party research projects, coordination and direction of consulting firms.

Compliance Responsibilities:

- ISO 13485: 2016 Medical Devices - Quality Management Systems - Requirements for Regulatory Purposes.
- EU Medical Device Directive (MDD) Annex II 93/42/EEC.as amended by Directive 2007/47/EC
- Canada Medical Device Regulations
- SOR/98-282 (MDR).
- Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Quality System Regulation (QSR) 21 CFR 820.
- Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Ontario’s Personal Health Information and Protection Act (PHIPA) and regulations on Personal Information/Health Information Protection in applicable global markets.
- Other applicable international regulations.
- Operate in compliance with relevant laws and regulations for the industry, including but not limited to Regulatory/ISO compliance (according to internal SOPs and industry guidance), Business Ethics and Interactions with Healthcare Professionals.
- Report any awareness of misconduct by BresoTEC, customers or partners.
- Work in accordance of BresoTEC policies and procedures e.g. business ethics, interactions with health care professionals, finance and HR.
- Employ a collaborative approach to problem solving and builds effective and inclusive relationships with employees at various levels.

**COMPETENCY**

**Education**:

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in related field of science or medicine.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 4 years’ experience in commercial role involving training, support and customer interaction in a B2B healthcare company

**TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS**
