Home Health Care Aide

**Job Overview**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Home Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care in their homes, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes. This position requires a commitment to patient care and a passion for helping others.
**Duties**
- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health conditions
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living space
- Assist clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene
- Support individuals with disabilities or special needs in their daily routines
- Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or those receiving hospice care
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or home care preferred
- Strong background in patient care and caregiving techniques
- Knowledge of senior care practices and the ability to work effectively with elderly clients
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Familiarity with dementia care strategies is beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong desire to help others live comfortably and independently
