Fitset Ninja is looking for passionate, energetic leaders to join our Mobile Street Team This is not just a job—it's an opportunity to be the face of our brand, share the joy of Ninja with kids and families, and promote our incredible Summer Camp programs. **What is Ninja?** Ninja obstacle course racing is similar to what you see on American Ninja Warrior: challenging, fun, and inspiring for all ages. Fitset Ninja has facilities in Edmonton and Calgary, and we’re launching our Mobile Street Team in Spring 2025 to bring the action directly to local communities. **Why Join Us?** - Competitive base pay ($20-$25/hour for Ambassadors) - Performance-based incentives - Professional development opportunities - Be part of a fun, dynamic team - Make a real impact by inspiring kids to be active and adventurous **About the Role** As a Mobile Ninja Ambassador, you’ll set up and operate our Mobile Obstacle Course at community events, festivals, and summer pop-ups. You’ll engage with kids and families, introduce them to the sport of Ninja, and actively promote our Summer Camp programs with an exciting call-to-action for parents. No coaching experience is required—just a passion for connecting with people and creating fun, memorable experiences **Positions Available**: We’re hiring Ambassadors and Team Leads. If you’re outgoing, organized, and excited to lead, we want you on our team - LOVES working with kids and athletes - Strong communication skills - Outgoing and approachable - Organized and confident in public settings - Excellent leadership abilities - Energetic, positive, and FUN - Strong work ethic and professionalism - Adaptable and flexible - Customer-focused - Trustworthy and respectful - Willing to give and receive feedback **Roles & Responsibilities** **Ambassador**: - Assist in transporting and setting up the mobile obstacle course - Lead participants through course orientation - Act as an enthusiastic ambassador for the sport and our facilities - Ensure equipment safety for all ages and skill levels - Keep the course fun and engaging - Support and encourage participants - Demonstrate Fitset Ninja’s Mission & Values: Growth Mindset, Customer Focus, and Teamwork - Provide feedback to improve programming - Manage participant and spectator engagement - Promote and sell Fitset Ninja goods and services **Team Lead**: - All Ambassador responsibilities, plus: - Supervise on-site operations - Provide detailed feedback to leadership - Manage logistics and ensure proper injury reporting - Recognize team members excelling in customer engagement - Handle escalated situations professionally - Support ongoing development of Ambassadors **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience working with children & youth - Public engagement experience - Athletic or coaching background - Interest in the sport of Ninja - Standard First Aid / CPR-C certification within 3 months of hire - Clear Police Record check with Vulnerable Sector Search prior to start **Compensation & Rewards** - Competitive wage: $20-$25/hour for Ambassadors, with Team Lead opportunities - Performance-based incentives - Awesome perks and team culture - Flexible roles: Permanent or temporary - Ongoing professional development **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company events - Extended health care - On-site gym - On-site parking - Wellness program Schedule: - Overtime - Weekends as needed Application question(s): - What does being a good company "ambassador" at a community event mean to you?
