Position Overview
The Technician is responsible for timely and effective resolutions to end-user productivity issues as they relate to IT-serviced computer operations. This will be accomplished by performing question/problem diagnoses, guiding users through to issue resolution, communicating technical solutions in user-friendly language, and conducting end-user training where necessary.

This person will assist the Systems Administrator in the testing, evaluation and implementation of devices. The Technician is also responsible for recording problems/solutions within the help desk call-tracking system.

Education and experience
- College diploma in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of one (1) year experience performing duties related to office support in an IT setting
- Ability to work efficiently with other members of the team
- Ability to communicate effectively with end-users and colleagues
- Ability to prioritize duties, handle large workloads and work under pressure
- Ability to self-teach and research solutions and new technologies

**HOURS OF WORK**:
Regular full-time - 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
and required to work outside normal hours for emergency situations or special projects.

**As a pre-condition of employment**:
All new HGH employees will be required to obtain and provide a satisfactory Police Records Check dated within six (6) months from the date of issue.
As of now, HGH will require all employees, physicians, learners, contractors and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
