Warehouse Assistant

At East Penn Canada, our people are the heart of our company. We currently have opportunities for highly motivated, team orientated **Warehouse Assistants (Contract)** to join our operations team at our brand new, state-of-the-art facility, located in Courtice.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Primarily working on finishing line to label product to customer specifications
- Sort, mark & place items in shelves or bins
- Read pick lists & ship orders to assemble, label, wrap & place customer orders on pallets and / or delivery trucks
- Assist Company Drivers / Sales Representatives / customers in loading & unloading trucks or both new product and scrap
- Actively participating in good housekeeping & maintaining a well-organized workplace
- Maintain a clean & safe work environment

**Experience, Skills & Competencies**
- Accuracy, attention to detail is critical in picking, shipping product by code
- Understands the importance of, and adheres to, all health and safety protocols
- Willing & able to frequently lift and/or move boxes up to 60 lbs. regularly
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision

- Please note that this is a **6 Month Contract** position.
