Produce Associate

Toronto, Canada Wan 2 Food Mart Full time

Responsibilities:

- Organize and maintain produce displays to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked department
- Assist customers with their produce selections and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the produce department
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming produce shipments
- Rotate and remove expired or damaged products from the shelves

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate cash handling and product rotation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
