**Location**: Head Office, Toronto
iGaming Ontario leads the Province of Ontario’s dynamic internet gaming (igaming) market that, in its third year generated $83 billion in total wagers, a 31% increase over the previous year. This resulted in $3.2 billion in total gaming revenue from over 80 gaming sites. Even more, Ontario’s igaming market sustained almost 15,000 full-time equivalent jobs across the province. **Key responsibilities for this role will include**:

- Reviewing requirements and specifications to develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using issue tracking tools.
- Collaborating with developers and business analysts to understand features and resolve issues.
- Performing various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Participating in sprint planning and daily stand-ups as part of an Agile team.
- Providing feedback on usability, performance, and overall user experience.
- 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with software development and testing life cycles.
- Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience testing APIs and using tools.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Basic understanding of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Java).
- Basic understanding of performance testing tools (e.g. Micro Focus Load Runner, JMeter).
- Basic understanding of test data tools (e.g. Java, Snowflake).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

This position falls within the scope of a bargaining unit represented by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU). In the upcoming months, iGaming Ontario and OPSEU will be negotiating the terms of a collective agreement which, once concluded, will govern the terms and conditions of this position.
