**Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a part-time Physician with a minimum of 6 months within the last 2 years of cumulative clinical experience to provide onsite and on call services to our federal client in Edmonton, AB**
TASKS
- The Physician must provide integrated, trauma informed, culturally appropriate Primary Care health services to patients.
- The Physician will collaborate with the Project Authority, the Health Services Team and Staff to promote interdisciplinary teamwork and ensure safe, effective and efficient operation of clinics to attain quality standards and goals.
- Prescribe medications according to the client's Drug Formulary.
- The Physician must document all patient encounters in the EMR/EHR, including, but not limited to: all progress notes, all assessment, treatments and consultations.
- Participate in grievances, investigations and human rights complaints processes, or court proceedings that may include a review of the Physician's documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
The Physician must possess:
- A current license in good standing from the provincial licensing body for physicians and surgeons in the province where services are to be provided.
- The proposed physician must have a minimum of six (6) months experience in providing primary care in the last two (2) years.
- The proposed physician must have provided the care in a community facility, or correctional facility, or within a regional health authority, hospital or other applicable health care organization or centres.
