**Position Summary**- The Banquet Server is responsible for ensuring that all guest expectations as specified on the Banquet Event Order (BEO) are precisely executed and that guest loyalty is obtained by building emotional connections with the guests through the service of food & beverage products and provision of outstanding guest service.

We work hard to live our Values daily and we are looking for someone who will take on the role of Banquets Supervisor. This person will be entrepreneurial, proactive and solution oriented. They will have exposure to both the restaurant side of the business, and the events side of the business.

**About You
- **Willing to work a variety of hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on the business needs
- Flexibility is a requirement.
- Alberta Pro-Serve is required
- Shows passion for Guest Service and experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and problem resolution skills
- Takes ownership of duties, shows initiative and is proactive
- Hard Working; enjoys being physically busy and active
- Friendly, enthusiastic, honest, reliable and confidential
- Offer courteous and sincere hospitality at all times and “deliver great guest experiences.”
- Handles, understands and responds to customer complaints and needs calmly and advises effectively or seeks assistance from management.
- Team player, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Works well under pressure in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

**Experience**:

- High School Diploma required, certified post-secondary education in the hospitality field is preferred
- Cash handling experience an asset
- 1 -3 years conference/ event/ banquet services experience
- WHMIS Training an asset
- First aid and CPR qualification are beneficial

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to spend entire shifts either on their feet or walking, able to lift, push cart and carry objects, up to 50 lbs. several times throughout the day
- Bend, stand, reach for extended periods of time, extensively throughout the day

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $19.00 per hour
