**Title of Position**

Product Assembler

**Position Type**

Full-time: 40-44 hours per week

**Location**

In-office position in Kanata, Ontario

**Pay Range**

$18 - $22/hour (contingent on skills)

**Job Summary**

As a product assembler at Empress Effects, you’ll take part in the complete hands-on assembly of our effects pedals, building each unit from start to finish. This includes assembling, soldering, testing, debugging, and improving the quality and efficiency of our processes.

No soldering experience? No problem—we’ll teach you.

**Responsibilities / Duties**
- Assemble effects pedals according to detailed instructions and quality standards.
- Solder electronic components onto circuit boards.
- Test and troubleshoot completed products to ensure functionality and performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist other departments as required.

**Required Skills / Qualifications**
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Ability to stand for long periods during a shift.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a resourceful and proactive approach.
- Fluent in English.
- Physically capable of lifting and safely carrying up to 50 lbs.

**Preferred Skills / Qualifications**
- Previous soldering or electronic assembly experience (not required—training provided).
- Basic knowledge of electronics or an interest in music and audio equipment is a strong asset.

**Application Process**

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
