**COMPANY OVERVIEW**:Average Joe Sports Club organizes co-ed recreational sports leagues in Burlington/Oakville, Hamilton, Milton, & Mississauga. We create great opportunities for everyday adults, co-workers, family and friends to stay active, spend time together, meet new people, and have fun playing their favourite sports. **RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Coordinate game schedules with the league office
- Gain early access to the venues prior to each shift
- Maintain positive relationships with all venue staff
- Set up any necessary equipment for the games
- Greet members as they arrive and provide excellent customer service
- Monitor all games, assist with issues and incidents as they arise
- Report back to league office with any pertinent post-shift information
- Availability to work Sunday night during the evening.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE**:

- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have access to a car, or ability to navigate well on public transport
- Must be dependable and trustworthy
- Prior knowledge and/or experience with sports is considered an asset
- Experience as a referee/official is considered an asset
- Experience with customer service is also an asset
- Confidence is key to succeeding in this role, and must also have strong problem solving skills
- Effective conflict resolution and teamwork skills

**LOCATIONS**:In general we run leagues at various venues around the areas that we serve, such as Burlington/Oakville, Hamilton, Brampton, Milton, & Mississauga. This time-keeping position operates primarily out of Haber Community Centre in Burlington but there may be change in location depending on the week.
**SHIFT TIMES**:Games will primarily take place on Sunday evenings. Other shitfs available as well

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour
