**Seeking Full Time Avionics Apprentice**

Victoria Air Maintenance Ltd is seeking a _full-time avionics apprentice_ to join our team. This job is based on Vancouver Island at the Victoria International Airport (YYJ), with regular hours on-site Monday to Friday. Our casual work environment is an enjoyable, friendly place to learn, grow, and succeed in your career as an Avionics Technician.

**Salary**

Salary is based on experience, starting at $20-$25 per hour, with increases available as you advance in your apprenticeship. A complete medical benefits package is available after three months of employment and includes health insurance, medical, dental and vision coverage.

**Shift and Schedule**

Full-time Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm
- No overtime or weekends required._

**Responsibilities**
- Perform avionics troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
- Be familiar with and comply with all applicable regulations and policy and procedure manuals.
- Maintain accurate record keeping and log book entries in a professionally organized manner.
- Work in a clean and orderly way.
- Ensure all safety guidelines and regulations are followed.
- Work towards acquiring an AME-E license
- Assist with regular hangar upkeep and maintenance.
- Running errands when required.

**Qualifications Required**
- Completed approved Transport Canada avionics course.
- Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Ability to work and play well with others.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
