Property Inspector

We are looking for a detailed oriented individual as a **Property Inspector **with minimum 3 years experience for **AKV Real Estate & Property Management Services. **As a property Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting the properties thoroughly. You will be responsible for inspecting the properties thoroughly.

Besides having great hand dexterity and an eye for detail, we are looking for someone who will have the ability to manage teams, deadlines, and budgets.

Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential to sustain a good safety culture.

The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting buildings and products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Visiting residential properties to conduct comprehensive compliance inspections
- Identifying safety hazards and structural defects on the interior and exterior of the properties
- Inspecting structural integrity, water quality, as well as electrical and plumbing systems
- Communicating with realtors, homeowners, or potential buyers to facilitate repairs and improvements
- Providing clients or other stakeholders with regular inspection progress updates
- Relaying detailed inspection findings to clients in a timely manner
- Documenting processes and maintaining records
- Keeping informed on construction regulations
- Performing inspections as per the compliance requirements
- Maintaining regular inspection report
- Performing detailed indoor and outdoor inspections

**Requirements**:

- Postsecondary certificate or bachelor's degree in building inspection technology, construction engineering, or similar
- At least 2 years experience as a property inspector, or in a related role
- Current and in - depth knowledge of construction regulations
- Extensive technical construction expertise
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Availability to meet homeowners outside of business hours to perform site inspections
- Knowledge or experience interacting with Indigenous cultures
