**Absolute Moving and Delivery is seeking a driver to work in Calgary and surrounding areas.**

**As a Driver you will be responsible for loading/unloading furniture customers and assisting our sales team with customer service.**

**Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading trucks, ensuring accurate inventory and delivery of furniture to their destinations, while following safety guidelines and meeting company standards.**

**Driver responsibilities**:
**Driving to job sites and perform work as assigned.**
- Safely operating a 26ft box truck
- Load unload trucks according to company specifications. **Follow directions from supervisors and coworkers to ensure safe operation of a vehicle.**:

- Adhere to all traffic laws, and follow company safety policies. **Maintain a clean driving record by following DOT regulations and maintaining valid driver's license.**:

- Assist customers with their orders and receive their payments by using a tablet or smartphone. **Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures**(all applicable)**(all applicable)**(all applicable)
- Perform physical tasks that include lifting, pulling, pushing & lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Drive for up to 8 hours per day (includes weekends, holidays, and overtime) **Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures (all applicable)**(all applicable)**(all applicable)**Qualifications**:Required Knowledge**:
A valid Class 5 with air endorsement certificate. Commercial driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience with a high school diploma or GED. A good driving record with no moving violations. **Preferred Knowledge**:A valid Class 5 with air endorsement certificate. Commercial driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience with a high school diploma or GED. A good driving record with no moving violations. **Preferred Driving Record**:At least 1-2 years of local driving experience.

**Salary**: $23.00-$29.00 per hour
