**About The Role**
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector is responsible for providing technical support to senior project staff (Project Managers, Superintendents, etc.) and conducting required quality inspections in accordance with the required codes of construction.
**As a Quality Inspector at Graham, you will**:
- Generate Project Specific Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans that align with QCM and project requirements.
- Identify and complete quality inspection reports required as per the ITP and project specifications.
- Review and assign welding procedures for ASME and CWB work scopes.
- Ensure proper permits are in place for work scopes.
- Verify trade certifications prior to the execution of work.
- Monitor welding activities (fit up, pre-heat, interpass, and final inspection) and ensure they are in compliance with WPS.
- Review Mill Test Reports (MTRs) and verify materials.
- Maintain weld log and mapping on an ongoing basis.
- Coordinate NDE as required by the code of construction and project specifications.
- Document Non-Conformances and ensure they are completed and closed out.
- Inspect completed piping systems, structural steel, and mechanical equipment and document deficiencies.
- Review subcontractor quality documents (ITPs, turnover packages, etc.) and audit work.
- Generate pressure test packages, and witness testing (Hydrostatic, Pneumatic).
- Complete final walkdowns with clients.
- Generate final turnover packages.
**Qualifications/Experience**:
- Minimum High School Diploma; Degree in Engineering or trade certification is preferred
- Minimum CWB Level 1 certification
- Minimum 3-5 year of experience in a Project Quality Inspector role or similar
- Safety tickets such as Fall Protection and Confined Space are an asset
- General knowledge of and increasing familiarity with the core elements of a construction project, including systems, practices, and processes of quality management system
- Good presentation skills and verbal / written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Proficiency using scheduling and project management software
