RAM Road Safety is looking for hardworking, motivated individuals to join our team as a Traffic Control Person (TCP)
This role will involve working locally and having opportunities to travel around beautiful BC
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for following and implementing traffic control plans;
- Communicate with other TCPs and crews on site;
- Participating in, and contributing in tailgate safety meetings;
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid BC Driver’s license is required with up to date Driver's Abstract;
- Own CSA approved boots (6” ankle support - not shoes);
- Ability to work in all weather conditions;
- First Aid is an asset, but not required;
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Working on planned and emergency based projects;
- Some weekend and on-call work;
- Working in all weather conditions;
- Working around heavy equipment, emergency services, hazardous materials, flashing lights, loud noises and moving traffic;
SALARY
Hourly rate $23-$30/hr to start based on experience, with opportunity for advancement into a supervisor/manager roll. Benefits available after 90 day probationary period. Potential for bonus rate if suitable applicant has Security Certificate or Level 3 First AID/EMR
