Pharmacy Assistant

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders for medications and supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering guidance on medication usage.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards, including medication administration protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a hospital setting to support patient treatment plans.
- Document all medication transactions accurately in accordance with legal requirements.

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the pharmacy team.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with medication administration processes is advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
