Security Guard

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter criminal activity and ensure safety.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities within the facility.
- Document all incidents, observations, and activities in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict resolution techniques.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is an asset.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$26.78 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
