JOB OVERVIEW
Join a dynamic team that contributes to the development of young people

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be present during activities with young people and facilitate discussion among them through individual and group activities.
- Plan, organize, lead and evaluate sports activities that meet the objectives of the family childcare room.
- Act as a resource person for young people.
- Encourage growth and development through sharing with young people.
- Organize and participate in outings to accompany children and their families in a safe environment.
- Ensure constant follow-up with the Children's Room team.
- Adhere to YMCA policies and procedures governing child protection.
- Understand and integrate the value of philanthropy within his/her position and the Association.
- Collaborate with our partners' social workers
- Act as an ambassador for The YMCAs of Québec and The Residences with partners, residents and suppliers.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- A minimum of 3 years experience working with children or teenagers.
- Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
- Certified in CPR and first aid (an asset).
- Have no legal impediments related to employment. Be legally authorized to work in Canada in accordance with the legislative and regulatory provisions in force in the province or territory concerned.
- Skills required

- Self-management: demonstrate autonomy within established parameters, distinguish the relevance of questions and communicate effectively with superiors.
- Highly developed sense of autonomy and organization: able to manage time well and deliver goods on time;
- Versatility: able to make different types of dishes, open-minded to other ways of doing things;
- Teamwork: actively participate in teamwork to ensure efficient service.
