Calgary, Canada Studio Y Creations Full time

**Overview**:
**Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Produce fully functioning 3D designs that meets both engineering and esthetic standards of SYC
- Coordinate procurement of mechanical materials for safe and efficient operation of props
- Liaise with structure, sculpting and installation departments to confirm suitability of design and engineering
- Prepare complete drawings sets for custom fabrication of 3D props and themed environments
- Manage timelines within budgeted hour allotments
- Produce CAM cut files (Computer Aided Machining)
- Produce CNC cut files

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years experience Solidworks or other similar 3D modelling software
- 5+ years HANDS-ON experience in construction, fabrication and/or build industry
- Creative or interest in working in a creative environment
- Good computer skills
- Project management skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude to work
- Well Organized

Assets for this position:

- Enjoys a fast paced work environment
- Prior experience with CNC machines
- Understanding of commercial floor plans and construction terminology
- Interest in project management

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
