**CLASS 1 DRIVER - NANAIMO**
We're looking for a full time skilled Class 1 driver **based out of our **_**Nanaimo**_ location. The routes run between Duncan and Port Hardy with the majority of the deliveries in Nanaimo, Courtenay and Campbell River. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service.

**Responsibilities**
- Operate heavy-duty automatic truck to transport freight to and from our high valued customers.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Most delivers are pin to pin. However, driver assist is sometimes required.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck when necessary.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 Driver's License.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and logistics operations.
- Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair principles is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A commitment to safety standards and practices in all driving activities.

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
