We are looking for a **Maintenance Purchaser / Storekeeper** that is comfortable managing the budget, providing, and managing the parts inventory, equipment parts and contracted services for maintenance department.Specific duties include entering data into the maintenance management system; ordering, receiving and distributing materials and parts; responding to questions regarding externally contracted services; communicating with vendors; comparing goods received to documents; preparing materials for shipment ; and loading.

Qualifications:

- College diploma or equivalent
- Specialized courses related to material management, inventory and financial an asset
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with inventory management systems.
- Problem solving skills, Organization skills
- Basic math, tabulation, and reconciliation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to promote and follow Prysmian Policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with all people.
- Ability to follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, and report unsafe conditions.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Lync, etc.
- Positive Attitude, Quality Oriented, and Safety Conscience

Work Environment:

- Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Frequent walking, standing, squatting and reaching required

Other Duties:

- Issue supplies, materials and equipment to Prysmian maintenance employees, contractors and other employees as required throughout the day as needed. Prepare all parts and materials for next upcoming PM’s. Day of PM parts are on shelf and ready for Maintenance Techs.
- Receives returned material stock items; determines suitability of material for restocking. Manually reverse the stock count, re-label and restock
- Receive delivered supplies, examine good shipped and verify completeness of orders, confirm that delivered goods match purchase order specifications, complete all paperwork for stock items received and reconcile against bills of landing, invoices, and/or other documents.
- Utilizes mainframe computer terminal to properly account for issues, returns and receipts of new materials inputs essential data on all materials handled; adheres to strict accounting procedures in this regard. This information is recorded in the Maintenance system.
- Manage the marking and tagging of items received for identification purposes to stock inventory. Physically make label/ tag after identifying the Maximo number.
- Conducts cycle counts of inventory materials based upon paper-monitored suggested re-order listing; assists in conducting complete physical inventory count annually.
- Organizes and maintains inventory areas for efficient material storage and handling; items received or returned.
- Maintains records and coordinates the periodic safety inspection and testing of specialized
- Coordinate, schedule and expedite deliveries directly with vendors as required
- Perform additional duties as required by the Facility and / or the Maintenance Manager
