**Hours & Availability**: (1) One Available Positions: Loader Operator

4 days on 4 days off

6:30am - 5:00pm

**Benefits**: Full Dental/Medical benefits provided after 3 month probation period

**Summary**: Loader Operator position involves driving a powered industrial rubber tired loader to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in the Material Recycling Facility. The individual will work indoors and out, in an environment with other heavy machinery, conveyor belts and large commercial trucks therefore a safety-centric attitude is emphasized.

This individual will have the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic and growing team of individuals and will have the opportunity to work in numerous areas of a modern recycling facility.

**Job Duties**:

- Preventative maintenance work on loader.
- Loading the conveyor belts with material.
- Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Responsible for reporting any damage to equipment and tools to Shift Supervisor
- Communicate with fellow employees in the work area and shift supervisor via 2 way radio.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred. Must be 18 years old.
- Able to follow safety rules at all times while on site
- Ability to pass certification in order to operate a loader
- Ability to understand and use all applicable aspects of WMS
- Ability to perform duties while sitting, standing, walking and lifting for certain times throughout the shift
- Ability to interpret instructions both oral and written (use of two way radio communication required, training provided)
- Ability to produce at a high level
- Ability to work with plant management for required results
- Ability to be able to work as part of a team
- Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Supervisor/ Manager
- High level of personal integrity
- Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Confident, consistent decisive personality
- Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed
- Able to pass a drug, alcohol and fit test

**Education &** **Credentials**:
There are no educational qualifications required for this position although the following previous education and certificates will be considered assets:

- First Aid - to be provided
- Fall Protection - to be provided
- Confined Space Entry - To be provided
- Ariel Platform - To be provided

**Work Conditions**: This position works in a manufacturing environment and has exposure to dust (Particulate Respiratory equipment required), fumes, heat, and cold temperatures. The individual must be able to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment as required. Other Environmental conditions employees are introduced to are as follows:

- Indoor environment
- Fast work pace and dynamic work
- Constant hand activity (Griping, grasping, Pushing, pulling, wrist rotation)
- Attain precise standards and maintain attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a group setting

- Electromagnetic fields (Magnets) (A static magnetic field can cause pacemakers and heart defibrillators to switch into special mode)
