Admission Counselor

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Conduct presentations and information sessions to prospective students and their families, showcasing the benefits of our institution.
- Provide personalized counseling to applicants, addressing their questions and concerns throughout the admission process.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless admission experience for prospective students.
- Utilize Ellucian software to manage applicant data and track admissions progress effectively.
- Participate in recruitment events, college fairs, and community outreach programs to promote our institution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, community organizations, and other educational entities to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials that highlight academic programs and campus life.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in public speaking or presenting information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with Ellucian or similar student information systems is preferred.
- Background in recruiting or teaching is highly desirable, showcasing an ability to engage and inspire students.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Pay: $17.20-$29.49 per hour
