Elevate your career by becoming an integral part of MC3 Manufacturing's success story. **Position: Estimator** Reporting directly to the Estimating Supervisor, the Estimator role at MC3 is a gateway to shaping the future of manufacturing excellence. In this Monday to Friday, dayshift, full-time position, you will be tasked with accurately quoting materials, fabrication time, machining time, and outsourced services to provide competitive RFQs that set us apart in the industry. While reliability in commuting is essential, we also value work-life balance, occasionally considering remote work opportunities. **What we are looking for**: - 1-3 years of estimating experience in a manufacturing environment - Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Epicor ERP is an asset. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Intermediate experience with Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) - Strong time management skills and meticulous attention to detail - Ability to read measuring devices (imperial and metric) - Independence in work coupled with effective collaboration within the estimating team. - Experience in a fabrication environment is a plus. - Experience with detailed blueprints is necessary. - Previous experience with conveyors is a benefit. - A strong analytical mindset that can compute data or statistics to extract information, trends and patterns that will drive informed decision-making. - Mathematical skills needed for assessing and calculating various costs, quantities, and parameters to determine the overall scope and feasibility of a project. - A mechanical understanding of how conveyors work and are assembled. Understanding of the different processes that go into the finished product. - Ability to systemize the process to create a structured and organized approach to assess costs, analyze project requirements, and generate accurate estimates. **Responsibilities include**: - Accurate interpretation of customer blueprints and shop drawings - Establishing contact with vendors for pricing of materials and outsourced items, recording and comparing bids - Providing outstanding customer service by liaising with customers - Generating quotes using estimating software - Ensuring all RFQs are accurately quoted and submitted by required due dates. - Investigating cost reductions and contributing to lead time schedules with vendors. **Benefits of working with us**: - Competitive Wages - Full Group Benefits Package (Drug, Vision, & Dental) * - RRSP Matching Program - Casual Dress Code - Opportunity for Growth Within the Company - Passionate Leadership with a Team-Based Culture At MC3 Manufacturing, we understand that employee satisfaction is the cornerstone of success.
