Avestec is a technology company, offering proprietary aerial robots for inspection of industrial assets. We are looking for an Electrical Technitian to work with our enginerring team to help with the robot manufactring and development.
- **Responsibilities**_
- Assist in electronic component assembly and wiring.
- Assist in robotics assembly and wiring.
- Hands-on prototyping and testing, maintaining timely records of test results.
- Implement, test and quality control existing or newly developed compnenets (full QC Cycle)
- Continued attention to safety and safe work environments
- Work independently and exhibit individual initiative.
- Participate in designs under supervision and troubleshooting.
- Communicate in both written reports and presentation with all team members.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Pursuing a degree in electrical engineering or relevant discipline (diploma or higher).
- Familiar with working in electronic labs, designs, component testing and troubleshooting.

**Bonus Assets**
- Familiar with PCB design, schematic capture and layout.

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burnaby, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
