**Assistant** **Pastry Chef - Part Time**

Reporting to the Executive Chef and Pastry Chef, the Assistant Pastry Chef will:

- Suggest new menu items
- Understand visitors' preferences and make suggestions based on findings
- Assist in the preparation of a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread
- Monitor supplies and ingredients necessary for daily operations
- Check quality of material and condition of equipment
- Maintain a clean cooking station
- Adhere to health and safety standards
- Keep abreast with the latest food and industry trends
- Order supplies
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Assist in the planning of menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, etc

Your skills and experience:

- Passionate about Food & Beverage.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Possess the proven ability to plan and prioritize.
- Similar experience or culinary school completion
- Basic knowledgeable of culinary operations, a team player, hard worker, and detail oriented.
- Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
