Team Auctions is proud to have won awards for "Best Marketing Website". **Job Description: Warehouse/Yard Personnel** **Job Title**: Warehouse/Yard Personnel **Main Purpose of the Job**: To ensure the accurate set up of an auction, verify item details and assist TEAM’s customers whilst maintaining standard of the warehouse & yard. **Reports to**: Warehouse Manager **Duties and Responsibilities**: - Identify and record customer's items - Compose and take photos of items - Provide assistance as required to the Yard Team - Receive/release (checks-in/checks-out) consigned items for auction - Add owner codes - Complete customer check in sheet - Lot number items - Recognize that Yard Staff are an integral part of the internal communications network in the yard - Perform basic maintenance on TEAM owned equipment & site - Complete safety inspection reports for yard - Maintain cleanliness of yard and facility - Follow all health and safety requirements to compliance of provincial standards **Qualifications**: - Valid Driver License - Proficiency with loading/unloading items - Ability to stay organized - Entering Data on Computer **Working Conditions**: Will be required to work outside in all weather conditions. Overtime must be pre-approved by manager. **Physical Requirements** Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. **Motion Parameters** Required to climb stairs, walk, squat, kneel, or drive and stand for long periods of time. **Vision and Hearing Requirements** Able to read judge distances when loading/unloading and placing excepted. **Psychological Demands** Expected to make quick decisions, problem solve, read and write and interpret data.
