Janitor/cleaner

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and surfaces to uphold the facility's appearance.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the functionality of the facility.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure thoroughness and efficiency.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with Bending, Crouching, Kneeling with a combination of Standing and Walking.

Fixed hours for your schedule will be jointly determined prior to your start, but must occur within the 7:00a-4:00p time period.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
