St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a** Full Time, Probationary, Facility Services 1**for a work assignment.

More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values.

**Hours of Work**:35.0**hrs. /week; 7.0 hrs. /day; Monday-Friday; Full Time Probationary

**Hourly Rate**:$25.86 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement

**Specific Needs/Requirements for this position**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills required.
- Reception experience an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills an asset.
- Enjoys working in a team environment, has a focus on customer service and can work independently.
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable is an asset.
- Experience in purchasing, receiving and invoicing.
- Experience working in a customer service environment.
- Experience working with maintenance management system programs and database an asset.
- Knowledge, skill, and enjoyment of working in an office environment, preferably within a school jurisdiction would be an asset.
- Completion of grade 12 supplemented by secretarial and computer courses.

**Specific Duties Include**:

- Provide secretarial and clerical services for the Facilities Services.
- Assist with the production and creation of documents and reports.
- Assist with the maintenance of a filing system for Facilities including work orders; requisitions; daily, weekly and monthly reports.
- Assist with maintenance management system programs and database.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices, determine account coding, prepare and distribute copies of purchase orders, reconciling staff purchase cards
- Answer the telephone, take messages, and perform receptionist duties.
- Check staff timesheets, expense accounts and other completed forms.
- Confirm and verify Joint Use bookings.
- Create and maintain a positive image of the district when dealing with parents, students, staff Alberta Learning and the general public.
- Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the Manager, Facilities Services from time to time.
