Resident Attendant

Position Overview:
As a Resident Attendant, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate personal care and essential services to our residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort. Your responsibilities encompass a range of tasks, including dishwashing, cleaning, and more, all executed in strict compliance with our established Home policies and procedures.
Work Schedule:
- 25 hours Bi-weekly
- 11:00pm-7:00am
- Every second Weekend Availability Required

**Requirements**:
- Must possess a Canadian Work Permit
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide professional care and maintain a courteous demeanor while interacting with residents and their families.
2. Deliver scheduled care services as required by residents and diligently document the provision of assistance and care.
3. Collaborate effectively as a member of the care team, offering support to fellow team members and assisting with tasks such as feeding, toileting, and helping residents move around.
4. Attend to bedtime routines to ensure the comfort of residents.
5. Adhere to all established policies, procedures, and safety regulations, upholding high work standards.
6. Address the care needs of residents as they arise, demonstrating a commitment to their well-being.
7. Keep work and storage areas clean, safe, and hygienic.
8. Stay informed about employee and supervisor responsibilities and strictly follow all health and safety protocols.
9. Prioritize safety to minimize the risk of injury to yourself, colleagues, and residents.
10. Quickly identify and report any actual or potential hazards.
11. Wear necessary personal protective equipment and clothing in accordance with the task, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), or home policy.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include maintaining resident rooms, tidying up, folding clothes, and monitoring temperature and weight.
