**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full Time Float/Support professional to join our team. The Float, under the supervision of the centre Director, is responsible for assisting in the implementation of a developmentally based educational program for all classrooms that has been devised by the classroom teachers and to assist in maintaining centre ratios. The Float Staff must show a commitment to lifelong learning and be willing to grow within the ECE field.

**Duties**
- Ability to effectively interact and relate to children in a developmentally appropriate manner
- Must be sensitive to each individual child’s differences and needs
- Must be motivated to learn and grow in an educational environment, and be willing to continually increase knowledge in the field of Early Childhood Education
- Must be able to relate and speak to families in a respectful and courteous manner
- Must be willing to work in a team environment
- Must be willing to share and exchange ideas and be flexible and willing to compromise

**Experience**
- Minimum of six months’ experience working with children under 6 years of age
- Strong customer service skills
- Must submit to reference checks, and have an up to date medical and immunization letter for their file
- Have current and valid First Aid and CPR training certification
- Must have a clear Police Vulnerable Screening letter on file, updated every 5 years
- Must obtain Food Handlers Certificate from Toronto Public Health
