We are currently seeking a **Surveyor** to join our **Land** **Surveying Division** to work out of our **Kitchener** office.

**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with the completion of topographic surveys, construction layouts, and boundary surveys;
- CAD drafting for civil engineering projects and calculations for construction layout;
- Prepare survey notes, grade sheets, and perform various calculations;
- Communicate with other surveyors and contractors to complete survey tasks;
- Ensure equipment is maintained and calibrated;
- Download field survey data and make records ready for processing and documentation; and
- Other related duties, as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent;
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role (including co-op experience);
- Experienced with Auto CAD/Civil 3D;
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings;
- Familiarity with laser/optical levels, total stations, and GPS survey equipment;
- Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and safe work practices when working around heavy equipment and/or construction sites;
- Standard First Aid & CPR training considered an asset; and
