We’re currently seeking a strategic and mission-aligned **Treasury Manager**to l**ead the stewardship of our treasury operation, including liquidity planning, banking relationships, investment management, and financial risk oversight** to support the long-term financial sustainability of our organization.
**About The Role**
As t**he Treasury Manager**, you’ll oversee and continuously improve Baptist Housing’s treasury operations, ensuring we maintain adequate liquidity, manage financial risk, and optimize returns in alignment with our investment policy and organizational values. Reporting to the Executive Vice President & CFO, you’ll work closely with financial institutions, investment advisors, and internal teams to manage investments and cash reserves. You’ll bring both strategic vision and operational expertise to support informed decision-making, safeguard our financial health, and help steward the resources entrusted to us.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Forecast short
- and long-term cash flow needs and manage daily cash positions
- Oversee all cash receipt and disbursement processing across entities
- Maintain banking infrastructure and relationships; open, close, and manage bank accounts
- Collaborate with external investment advisors to monitor portfolio performance and rebalance as needed
- Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies, investment guidelines, and banking agreements
- Conduct scenario analysis and financial stress testing to evaluate risk exposure
- Manage intersociety cash transactions and consolidated cash reporting
- Lead development of treasury dashboards and investment performance reports for senior leadership and the Board
- Stay current with treasury technologies and recommend system and process improvements
- Support debt management and covenant compliance
- Partner with IT and Finance to integrate treasury tools with broader financial systems
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in treasury management or corporate finance
- Strong understanding of liquidity management, banking operations, and investment oversight
- Knowledge of not-for-profit financial structures and regulations is an asset.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to manage risk, streamline processes, and implement treasury technology solutions
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial systems, and ERP/treasury management platforms
- Ability to travel as required and work primarily onsite at our Ministry Office in Surrey

**Compensation & Benefits**
We offer a competitive compensation package, featuring an annual salary range between** $110,000 to $125,000**. Your comprehensive benefits include employer-paid extended health and dental coverage, along with a generous four weeks of vacation. Additionally, we provide RRSP matching contributions and support for your ongoing professional development.
