**Overview**
The Custodial Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring that facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This position is a hands-on role and is responsible for overseeing the custodial staff and managing daily cleaning operations within the facility. The Custodial Supervisor will implement cleaning protocols, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires a proactive approach to facilities maintenance and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all building occupants.

**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of custodial staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility including restrooms, hallways, classrooms, and common areas.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are regularly maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Train new custodial staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by staff or building occupants regarding cleanliness or maintenance.

**Skills**
- Has obtained BSW Certification (Building Service Worker Certificate)
- Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and techniques.
- Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in various environments.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of custodial staff.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Good communication skills to interact with staff, management, and building occupants effectively.
- Good practical knowledge of (MS Office - Excel, Word, Outlook & Power Point)
- Ability to meet and communicate with clients

This position is essential in maintaining the overall functionality and appearance of the facility while ensuring a safe environment for everyone.

Pay: $46,800.00-$52,700.00 per year
